A Florida man was jailed after police said he tried to charcoal sex offenders to death.
Jorge Porto Sierra, 50, confessed to Osceola County investigators that he tried to kill several people at a motel in Kissimmee on March 7, WESH reported.
The man allegedly told police that he went to the Friendly Village Inn to “set all child moles on fire and kill them.”
The news channel reported that at least two out of four victims are convicted of sex crimes.
Porto Sierra reportedly issued several threats, including a taunt, “I’m going to kill you child molester,” before allegedly splashing gasoline on the door.
Witnesses claimed that Porto Sierra was holding a cigarette during the incident, hitting the couple’s car and doused it with gasoline. He is also accused of breaking a hotel window to pour gas into the room.
Porto Sierra told police that he did not respond to his threats because they “arrived here too early,” according to WESH.
He was formally charged Thursday with four counts of attempted murder, the TV station reported, and is being held without bail in Osceola County Jail.
