According to the Palm Beach Post, Matthew James Visconti allegedly tried to leave and then fiercely resisted police attempts to arrest him. He was charged with beating, beating a police officer, hooligan drunkenness, resisting arrest without violence, and resisting arrest with violence.
According to the police report, the store manager received a cut on the bridge of his nose after being hit by Visconti.
While the police were gathering information, Visconti allegedly walked east along Clematis Street. When told he should stay while the investigation continues, Visconti said, “To hell! Why am I coming back? ”
The report said that 22-year-old Visconti allegedly elbowed and kicked two police officers before being handcuffed. He also squeezed himself between two palm trees and had to be put on his leg after he continued to kick the officers.
The report says that before being sent to prison, Visconti was taken to a local hospital to be treated for abrasions on his face while fighting the police.
