(KUTV) – A 50-year-old Florida man was arrested on March 7 for attempted murder of sex offenders, ABC 13 reports.
According to investigators, the suspect, whose name is Jorge Porto Sierra, tried to set fire to several people in the motel. He is facing four charges of attempted murder.
Porto Sierra told MPs that he came to the motel to “set fire to all child molesters and kill them.”
According to the WESH 2 report, two out of four victims are convicted of sex crimes.
ABC 13 reports that witnesses told authorities that Porto Sierra made repeated threats, shouting “I’m going to kill you child molester,” before pouring gasoline on the front door.
The MPs asked Porto Sierra why he does not comply with his threats. The man simply replied, “You came too early.”
Porto Sierra is currently in jail, ABC 13 reports. He is not on bail.
