June 4 Florida man caught on video dancing atop deputy's cruiser

LEE COUNTY, Florida (WFLA). Home surveillance videos showing a man dancing on a Florida Deputy Sheriff’s cruiser are circulating over the Internet.

The video shows a man dragging his car into the driveway of a house in front of which an SUV from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office is parked. The man pulls his car up to the bumper of the SUV, gets out of the car and climbs onto the roof of the cruiser.

He then tries to strike a karate pose and starts dancing on the roof of the SUV while Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl” is playing on the radio in the background. The man continues to dance to the music playing on the old radio station, pointing to his car and moving his body to the Supertramp song “Goodbye Stranger.”

The man danced in a car in broad daylight for more than five minutes. Then the video shows him sliding across the windshield, then standing on the hood of an SUV and breaking the wipers. A man gets out of an SUV, steals an American flag from a neighbor’s yard and wanders around the yard.

The neighbors saw this man and his strange behavior and called the police.

In the last part of the video, you can see how the deputies come and then look for him in the yard. It ends with the MPs escorting the handcuffed man to the assistant cruiser. According to a Facebook post from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, he was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal acts.
