Now that he’s too big to roam his backyard in Coconut Grove, Florida fisheries and wildlife officials intervene to retrieve the 13-foot reptile. The authorities received a complaint against the alligator and launched an investigation.
“Unfortunately, the alligator Gwendoline is not in the cage it should be,” said Lorenzo Velos of FWC.
Van Buuren feeds alligator pizza and chocolate chip cookies – Chips Ahoy, obviously his favorites – and says he’ll do whatever he can to keep him down.
There is no word yet on how long it will take for the FWC to make a decision, or where they will take Gwendoline if they take him from home.
