A Clearwater, Florida resident embarked on a bold strategy after MPs discovered syringes in his rectum when he was incarcerated in Pinellas County Jail.
He simply told the deputies that they were not his.
The Pinella County Sheriff’s Office said Wesley Dasher Scott, 40, was arrested Friday on an unfulfilled warrant based on a previous drug arrest in September. When the deputies took Scott to jail, they conducted a strip search.
The arrest report states that Scott “took three syringes from his rectum” and handed them to the deputy, stating that “they were not his.”
When the MPs initially arrested Scott, they warned the Clearwater man that he could face additional charges if they found any smuggling or drug supplies on him after being incarcerated. Scott acknowledged the officers, saying he knew what was going to happen according to the arrest report.
This is not Scott’s first clash with the police. The arrest history of the 40-year-old man includes several charges of drug and battery use.
In addition to the previous warrant, Scott was also charged with distributing contraband in the county detention center. He is currently being held in prison instead of $ 5,000 bail.
