Last week, a Florida man attempted a “not-so-lucky escape” when he tried to hide from MPs underwater in a pond – a “gunman” trick that officials easily ripped off when he took to the air, authorities said.
Daniel Christopher Booth, 36, received a warrant for his arrest in Baker County for selling methamphetamine, the Suwani County Sheriff wrote on Facebook on Wednesday.

When the lawmaker tried to arrest Bout at his job at the solar power plant, the sheriff said, the 36-year-old man ran away and dived into a pond.
“Now we can only assume that Mr. Booth watched too many action films and thought he could hide from the K9 teams, from Suwannee CI and Mayo CI, hiding underwater in a pond,” the message said. According to the report, Booth made an arrest when he came to the surface to get some air.
The sheriff’s office said Booth was taken “wet through” to the Suwani County Jail, adding some fun hashtags, including “#NotRambo”.

He was faced with additional charges for a poorly planned escape attempt.
Social media users commented on the sheriff’s message, some of them pointing out a fatal flaw in Booth’s plan.
“Good action movies show you have to gouge a reed to breathe,” wrote one user.
Another said, “Apparently he forgot to take a bamboo shoot to breathe while he waited. He needs to watch more cartoons
